2012 Rhino eXtreme Divisions

Seeding criteria is used for this tournament. There will not be wrestle backs to second place. We reserve the right to combine weight classes where we deem appropriate. 3 match guarantee for brackets with four or more wrestlers. CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS ARE AWARDED TO TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS. CUSTOM BELT BUCKLES ARE AWARDED THROUGH SIXTH PLACE EXCEPT FOR 32 AND 64 MAN BRACKETS WHICH WILL PLACE TO EIGHTH. This is a TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS QUALIFIER.

Please read through this carefully. We made lots of changes (as of 4 September) to the schedule and requirements based on the venue change! A few more changes were made just before Christmas. We have brought back the Rookie Tournament which will be run separately in the same facility. Clarification on Saturday check ins were added on 23 January.

Registration / Entry Fees

Preregistration will take place online via track wrestling. Preregistration and online payment is mandatory. Registration will be open from 20 Jan (1 am) to 27 Jan (9 am) 2012.

Registration fee is $30. Unregistered wrestlers (those that did not register and pay online via Trackwrestling) pay $40 at the door Friday evening.

There are no Saturday walk ins! *If you do not make weight you are subject to a $20 re-bracketing fee.

Spectator Fees: $8 per person, kids 5 & under free, family rate is $30

Satellite Weigh Ins

Satellite weigh ins are allowed with the following restrictions:

Coaches request satellite location weigh in approval via email to rhinocoach@rhinowrestling.org.  All locations will be open for a minimum of 2 hours, will be available to all participants and the location and times will be published on our web site.

Club Coaches may weigh in club wrestlers on Friday.

We reserve the right to spot check wrestlers that used a satellite weigh in up to 8:30 am on Saturday morning. We expect spot-checked wrestlers to be within 3 pounds of the registered actual weight.

ALL SATELLITE WEIGH IN RESULTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 9:30PM ON FRIDAY. EMAIL LIST WITH ACTUAL WEIGHTS, e.g. 154.3 to rhinocoach@rhinowrestling.org. RESULTS MUST BE TURNED IN USING THE FORM WE PROVIDE YOU.

All Divisions must check in by 9 am Saturday morning or risk being scratched. *If you do not make weight you are subject to a $20 re-bracketing fee.
